Job summary

Roskam Foods in Grand Rapids, MI, seeks an Operations Leader to direct daily warehouse activities across shipping, receiving, inventory, and production support. You will lead a 24/5 to 24/7 operation, balance service with cost, and partner with multiple functions to improve workflow.

The role requires 5+ years in warehouse/logistics leadership, a Bachelor’s in a related field, and strong experience with WMS/YMS/ERP systems, RF scanning, and data-driven improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, logistics, or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive warehouse, logistics, distribution, or manufacturing leadership experience.
• Experience with WMS, YMS, ERP, RF scanning, and reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, inventory, staging, and material flow.
• Lead a 24/5 to 24/7 operation balancing service, production needs, and labor coverage.
• Ensure accurate handling, storage, and documentation of materials and finished goods.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Leadership to remove constraints and improve workflow.
• Develop and manage budgets for labor, equipment, and other operating expenses.
