Qualifications

• 1–3 years previous work experience in a supervisory role required.
• Strong leadership skills with ability to provide feedback on performance.
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills required.
• Proven PC and systems experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise operations and team in at least one area of operations per shift.
• Train and manage performance of employees, including team leads, in individual areas within warehouse operations.
• Interview and screen job candidates; make hiring decisions.
• Monitor and assess employee performance; recommend promotions, raises, terminations, or changes in status.
• Coach, counsel and issue corrective action when employees do not meet expectations.
• Handle employee complaints and grievances; liaise with Human Resources.
• Plan and apportion work assignments to meet production goals for each area.
• Complete annual performance development reviews; coach employees.
• Participate in departmental meetings; follow procedures and contribute to cross-departmental projects.
• Promote continuous process improvement and safety; ensure compliance with regulations.
