Job summary

TAS Energy, a Houston-based technology and energy solutions provider, seeks an Assistant Director, Warehouse Operations to lead multi-site warehousing operations including receipt, storage, and distribution of materials and finished goods. You will guide staff across facilities in the Houston area.

You will drive safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement, manage budgets and metrics, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize capacity and resources while ensuring traceability

Qualifications

• 6+ years of management experience in warehouse operations.
• 6+ years of related manufacturing or factory experience.
• Strong command of English, both written and verbal.
• Experience with ERP/Warehouse systems and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Oversee warehouse operations across multiple facilities in the Houston metropolitan area.
• Supervise warehouse managers.
• Prioritize workload across the warehouses.
• Identify and address all safety hazards within the work areas.
• Identify and address additional capacity and resources needs.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives.
• Achieve financial objectives by preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
• Ensure traceability on required materials.
• Ensure compliance with government regulations and corporate policies and procedures for warehouse operations.
• Perform metrics reporting and data analysis tasks to identify issues and opportunities for process improvements.
