Senior Warehouse Operations Lead — Evening Shift

Job summary

NFI is seeking a Warehouse Operations Manager II to oversee the day-to-day 24/7 warehouse activities, focusing on personnel management, safety, and adherence to SOPs within a 500,000+ sq ft facility.

You will partner with the General Manager to develop strategic plans, optimize shipping/receiving schedules, monitor equipment usage, and guide supervisors to meet productivity targets while maintaining compliance with OSHA, DOT, HAZMAT, and FDA standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business or related field preferred.
• 7+ years of supervisory experience in a 500,000 sq ft warehouse or distribution environment.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (Manhattan preferred).
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Working knowledge of warehouse/mechanical equipment.
• Familiarity with OSHA, DOT, HAZMAT, FDA regulations preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Develops a strategic plan in conjunction with the General Manager to ensure efficient and cost effective operation and utilization of the facility.
• Directs the operations of the warehouse supervisors and warehouse personnel to meet goals.
• Oversees all inbound and outbound shipments to ensure they are correct and carried out in a timely fashion.
• Audits compliance of both internal and external SOPs to maintain standards.
• Plans long-term labor needs based on sales, forecasts and historical data.
• Partners with other leaders to balance labor ensuring appropriate levels of staffing.
