Job summary

Imperial Supplies, a Grainger Company, is hiring a Warehouse Material Handler III at our Salisbury, NC Distribution Center. This full-time role runs Monday through Friday, 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM, with no weekends or holidays.

Paid time off includes 18 days in the first year, and Day 1 benefits including medical, dental and vision coverage. The position involves packaging inbound material, kit assembly, labeling systems, RF data entry, and order picking with powered equipment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma/GED or equivalent required.
• One year of general knowledge of distribution/manufacturing operations.
• Average math skills and good reading & writing ability.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail/accuracy.
• Must be able to stand/walk in a warehouse; able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Package inbound material and assemble kits using labeling systems and printers.
• Operate packaging equipment, scales, tape guns and shrink wrap equipment.
• Record packaging activity with RF scanners and data entry.
• Pick orders with powered industrial equipment; perform cart put away and restock picking.
• Assist with inventory cycle counts and coordinate with Quality Control to ensure quality goods.
