Job summary

The Pivot Group Network in West Michigan is partnering with Otsego-based companies to add Warehouse Managers. This role oversees receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping, with a focus on safety and accuracy.

Ideal candidates bring a Bachelor's in a related field, 5+ years in warehouse management, proven WMS experience (SAP EWM or Oracle), and strong leadership to mentor teams and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field.
5+ years of progressive warehouse management experience in manufacturing.
Proven experience implementing and optimizing Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
Ability to lead, mentor, and develop a warehouse team.
Strong understanding of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

Oversee all warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping of raw materials and finished goods.
Develop and implement warehouse policies and procedures to ensure efficient and safe operations.
Manage and mentor a team of warehouse staff, including hiring, training, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions.
Optimize inventory control processes, including cycle counting and discrepancy resolution, to maintain accurate stock levels.
Collaborate with production, logistics, and quality departments to ensure timely material flow and order fulfillment.
Implement and monitor KPIs to track warehouse efficiency and identify areas for improvement.
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and quality standards within the warehouse environment.
