Job summary

TAS Energy Inc., a Houston-based manufacturer of modular systems, seeks a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations. You will prioritize workload, train staff, and ensure accurate goods receipt, storage, and dispatch while maintaining safety and quality standards.

With 5+ years in manufacturing and 3+ years supervising, you will drive process improvements, leverage ERP and MS Office tools, and mentor teams across shifts to meet KPIs and Lean initiatives.

Qualifications

• Must read and interpret safety rules and operating instructions.
• Forklift experience required.
• Basic math with various units of measure.
• Ability to draft routine reports and correspondence.
• Computer literacy across standard software.
• Analytical and detail-oriented mindset.
• Strong written and verbal communication with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize workload within the warehouse.
• Maintain training records for all employees.
• Identify and address safety hazards within the work area.
• Train new warehouse employees in material handling and identification.
• Assist shipping/receiving; unload trucks with forklift or crane; verify orders and distribute to sales staff.
• Stock materials physically and electronically in correct bin locations.
• Participate in Lean/Kaizen and other Operational Excellence initiatives.
• Read and transact customer orders, work orders, and shipping documents to determine items to move or ship.
• Ensure warehouse is accessible and safe for sales and customer traffic.
• Open containers and assist in cycle counts.
• Weigh and count items to meet company standards.
• Record material transactions in ERP/WMS.
• Help implement process improvements and train warehouse staff.
• Create training work instructions and collaborate with other departments on improvements.
• Monitor and report KPIs and identify gaps.
