Job summary

ABB in Mebane, NC is seeking a Warehouse/Internal Logistics Supervisor to lead shift teams, monitor work plans, and ensure proper use of machinery and assembly lines in a production area.

You will provide regular feedback to management, help allocate shift orders, reinforce schedules and quality, and act as a leader to resolve technical, logistical, and operational issues on the line.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in manufacturing or a related industry.
• Authorized to work in the US legally.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
• Practical experience using a computer/laptop with applicable software.

Responsibilities

• Supervise shift team’s progress against work plans as defined by Production management to ensure proper use of machinery, equipment and assembly lines.
• Provide regular feedback to management regarding issues within the production line and shifts.
• Reinforce production schedules and quality across the shift and assist with shift plan execution.
• Lead shifts to resolve technical/quality problems and logistic issues and coordinate with unit supervisor for a productive environment.
