Job summary

ABB is seeking a Warehouse/Internal Logistics professional for an onsite role in Mebane, NC. The role involves sorting and organizing material, pulling components for dispatch, and packing on pallets according to established procedures.

You will transport boxes and perform related warehouse tasks as part of daily operations. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent, at least 1 year in manufacturing, and experience with common hand tools, plus the ability to lift up to 40 lbs

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum 1 year working in a manufacturing environment preferred.
Knowledge and use of tools – tape measure, calipers, grinders, or other hand tools, as needed.
Ability to safely use a ladder while performing the job, as needed.
Ability to lift, push and pull up to 40lbs.
Candidate must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.

Responsibilities

Sorting and arranging material for storage as per guidelines.
Picking components from stock for dispatch and final packing on pallets.
Executing routine activities according to established procedures.
Transporting boxes, and being responsible for various other collection, storage, and warehouse activities.
