Job summary

ABB's Distribution Solutions Division seeks a Warehouse Supervisor in Mebane, NC, onsite. You will optimize inventory processes, drive continuous improvement, and coordinate cross-functional efforts to meet production schedules and goals.

You'll manage materials, inventory quality, scheduling, transportation, and cost-reduction opportunities. Build strong relationships with plant leadership, commercial teams, customer service and finance; publish performance metrics and support master schedule

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in manufacturing warehouses, planning or logistics.
• Legal authorization to work in the US required.
• Knowledge and use of hand tools (tape measure, calipers, grinders) as needed.
• Ability to safely climb ladders and lift up to 40 lbs.
• Experience with SAP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Optimize inventory processes and drive continuous improvement.
• Coordinate and expedite materials; manage inventory quality and accuracy.
• Schedule transportation and analyze costs for cost reduction.
• Develop processes improving safety, efficiency, quality and cost control.
• Maintain relationships with plant leadership, commercial teams, customer service, and finance.
• Publish performance metrics and support master schedule execution.
• Perform routine warehouse tasks: sorting, picking, packing, goods receipts, cycle counting, audits.
• SAP data maintenance and storage-location cleanup.
