Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. in Lockbourne, OH seeks a Warehouse General Manager / Group Logistics Manager to lead the financial, operational and people aspects of multiple accounts within Ryder E-Commerce.

You will drive profitable retention and growth while meeting safety, customer and employee metrics. The role requires strong leadership of both salaried and hourly staff, coaching and developing leaders, and a disciplined, performance-driven culture in a large distribution center.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in business, logistics, supply chain or related field.
• Master's Degree preferred.
• 5+ years in supply chain, logistics, warehouse or related field.
• 5+ years managing direct reports.
• 5+ years managing large multi-level teams.
• 3+ years in logistics project management.
• 1 year or more in managing customer KPIs.
• Lean or LEAN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Goal setting, skills assessment, career development, performance feedback.
• Developing direct and indirect reports and staffing.
• Creating and maintaining location processes and cross-training.
• Customer satisfaction and KPI tracking; improving transport/ distribution management.
• Improve employee retention and reduce unnecessary overtime; safety follow-up.
• SOX/financial reconciliation and invoicing to customers.
