Job summary

Performance Foodservice is seeking a Warehouse Manager to oversee all aspects of warehouse workflow and the driver fleet, including recruiting, safety, and compliance. The role emphasizes counseling staff, achieving corporate goals, and ensuring profitability.

As a team member, you will perform duties to best serve the company. You will supervise scheduling, budgeting, and performance management while driving efficiency and cost control within the department.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
• 6 - 10 years foodservice operations or related area with supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise associates including scheduling, training and development counseling, performance management and problem resolution.
• Manage inventory dollar levels to achieve optimum cash flow and service level; develop budgets for the Warehouse Department on a yearly basis and monitor monthly.
• Interact with customers and vendors in a friendly, timely and quality manner; ensure customers' and vendors' questions are answered accurately and in a timely manner.
• Establish procedures to maximize efficiency of the operations department and allow best productivity.
• Solve operational problems and make decisions in situations with minimal standardization; analyze work situations.
• Improve operational strategies and processes based on knowledge of the food distribution industry.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
