Job summary

KBR Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) is seeking a Warehouse & Central Utility Building (CUB) Construction Manager to oversee on-site construction activities for warehouse operations, logistics facilities, and central utility building infrastructure. The role reports to the Construction Lead and focuses on safety, schedule, budget, and quality.

You will lead EPCM contractors, coordinate with engineering, procurement, CQV, and operations teams, and support startup and turnover to operations.

Qualifications

• BS in Construction Management, Engineering, or related technical discipline, or experience in lieu of a degree.
• Minimum 20 years of progressively responsible construction management experience.
• Minimum 10 years in leadership roles on large industrial, petrochemical, energy, pharmaceutical, mining, manufacturing, or infrastructure projects.
• Demonstrated experience managing projects valued at $500 million or greater.
• Experience serving as owner's representative on major EPC or EPCM projects.
• Proven record of delivering complex projects safely and successfully.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the owner's representative on site and deliver the project safely, on schedule, within budget, and to high quality standards.
• Lead all site construction activities from mobilization through startup and handover.
• Manage EPCM contractors and subcontractors for safe and efficient execution.
• Coordinate construction, engineering, procurement, CQV, and operations teams.
• Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement recovery plans as needed.
• Ensure compliance with contractual requirements, regulatory standards, and owner expectations.
• Provide regular reporting and strategic recommendations.
• Direct and oversee contractor performance against safety, schedule, cost, and quality metrics.
• Lead safety program and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Validate schedules and provide forecasting and progress reporting.
