KBR Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) seeks a Central Utilities Lead to provide overall technical oversight and integration of the campus utility generation and distribution infrastructure. You will serve as the primary engineering authority for utility plants and site-wide utility systems supporting manufacturing, laboratory, warehouse, and campus facilities.

• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.

Central Utilities LeadKBR Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) provides holistic and value-added solutions across the entire asset life cycle. These include world-class licensed process technologies, differentiated advisory services, deep technical domain expertise, energy transition solutions, high-end design capabilities, and smart solutions to optimize planned and operating assets. KBR is seeking a Central Utilities Lead to provide overall technical oversight and integration of the site's central utility generation and distribution infrastructure, serving as the primary engineering authority for utility plants and site-wide utility systems supporting manufacturing, laboratory, warehouse, and campus facilities. **Functional job responsibilities will include but are not limited to:** * Ensure central utility systems, including steam, chilled water, heating water, compressed air, process gases, cooling water, and associated distribution networks, are designed and executed to meet reliability, capacity, maintainability, sustainability, operational readiness, and future expansion requirements.* Coordinate closely with engineering disciplines, construction, procurement, C&Q, and operations teams to support design integration, utility demand planning, equipment selection, risk management, startup readiness, commissioning, qualification, and long-term operational performance of the campus utility infrastructure.* Ensure site utility systems are safe, reliable, maintainable, scalable, and aligned with project requirements. **Required Education, Experience, & Skills:** * Bachelor’s degree in related Engineering discipline.* Minimum 10 years of experience with engineering and design of utility systems on commercial or industrial capital projects.* Strong knowledge of engineering, design, constructability, operability, and maintainability best practices and code requirements for all utility systems.* Experience successfully coordinating multidisciplinary engineering and design activities for capital projects in excess of $500M TIC. **Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills:** * Experience supporting pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or GMP-regulated facilities.* Prior experience in an Owner’s Representative or PMC role for major capital projects in excess of $1B TIC.* Experience supporting commissioning, qualification, and startup activities.* Professional Engineer (PE) license. **Decarbonization – Energy Transition – Sustainability** **KBR Benefits** KBR offers a selection of competitive lifestyle benefits which could include 401K plan with company match, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, AD&D, flexible spending account, disability, paid time off, or flexible work schedule.
