Job summary

Storage Solutions - A Jungheinrich Company in Cincinnati, OH, is seeking a Senior Automation Project Manager to lead complex intralogistics and warehouse automation projects from contract handoff to customer acceptance and transition to After Sales.

You will own scope, schedule, budget, safety, and stakeholder alignment, directing Engineering, Controls, Software, Purchasing, Installation, and commissioning teams to deliver safe, on-time, and commercially successful outcomes.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of project management experience delivering material handling, warehouse automation, or other complex engineered systems.
• Demonstrated ownership of projects through design, procurement, installation, integration, commissioning, acceptance, and closeout.
• Working knowledge of mechanical equipment, electrical systems, controls, software, networks, and system interfaces within an automation environment.
• Experience managing contracts, scope, change control, schedules, budgets, forecasts, suppliers, subcontractors, risks, and customer expectations.
• Ability to read and interpret technical specifications, contracts, schedules, layouts, and CAD drawings.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for multiple concurrent automation projects or one complex program with full delivery accountability.
• Create and maintain project execution plans, governance cadence, responsibility assignments, decision logs, action logs, and communications plans.
• Lead internal and customer kickoffs, recurring reviews, executive updates, and lessons learned sessions.
• Establish clear priorities across cross-functional teams, suppliers, and subcontractors, with defined due dates.
• Mentor project managers and coordinators on project controls, customer communication, and issue resolution.
• Escalate material risks and decisions with facts, impact, options, and recommended paths forward.
