Job summary
Tata Consultancy Services Limited in Saint Paul, MN is seeking a Senior Engineer for technology-driven warehouse automation projects. You will design and deploy automation solutions, collaborating with PMs, OEMs, and plant teams to meet safety and regulatory standards.
Role focuses on designing ASRS and conveyor systems, integrating robots, AMRs/COBOTS, vision systems, and WMS/WES/WCS interfaces with enterprise IT. Strong project management and cross-functional communication are essential.
Qualifications
- Experience in warehouse design and automation solutions (ASRS, VNA, put-away/picking, conveyors).
- Knowledge of robots/cobots, AMR/AGV, vision systems and related tech.
- Hands-on in engineering, deployment of converting line automation with AGVs/AMRs/COBOTS/vision systems.
- Familiarity with advanced robotics tech like haptics, teleoperation, and ROS.
Responsibilities
- Design/ redesign warehouses including capacity calculations and tech selection.
- Develop automation solutions from concept to plant commissioning.
- Collaborate with PMs, fabrication teams, and plant personnel.
- Ensure safety compliance per customer and regulations.
- Provide scope, cost estimates, schedules, and active project management.
