Avista is seeking a Warehouseman in Spokane with responsibilities including receiving materials, stocking shelves, and preparing items for shipment. The role also involves inventory counts, data entry in our inventory system, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment.

This position sits within a five-step pay progression and may require a Class A CDL or the ability to obtain one. A DOT medical certificate will be required after hire, and a valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Six months experience in shipping/receiving/issuing and inventorying materials preferred.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems and computer experience including MS Office Suite required.
• Previous forklift operating experience preferred; and must pass Company forklift operator's training program for continued employment.
• Requires valid driver's license and must obtain a DOT medical certificate upon hire.
• Class A Commercial Drivers License or the ability to obtain is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Receive materials and stock warehouse shelves, aisles and outside storage areas.
• Fill orders by locating materials and preparing them for shipping.
• Perform general clean-up of warehouse and outside storage areas.
• Participates in physical and cycle count inventories.
• Utilizes the inventory management system to keep track of all material activity.
• This position is the highest of a multi-step progression and is expected to know all aspects of Warehouseman duties for the Company.
