Job summary

Visa is seeking a Network & Security Engineer Senior Consultant to design, implement, and support Visa's internal and commercial network infrastructure. The role includes DNS/DHCP/IPAM administration, automation, and collaboration with Cybersecurity to uphold security standards.

The position is hybrid, requiring periodic in-office work and providing opportunities to work with public cloud connectivity and Infrastructure as Code across Private, Hybrid, and Multi-Cloud environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field.
• 11+ years of relevant work experience, or 8+ with BA and 2+ years with Master/PhD.
• Experience with IP routing protocols OSPF and BGP; Cisco encryption tech (IPSec/SSL).

Responsibilities

• Design, engineer, and support IP networks for Visa's commercial network infrastructure.
• Plan, design, implement, and support network systems of moderate complexity in the commercial network environment.
• Provide network design documentation to project teams and support organizations.
• Provision new client processing by updating networks and assisting clients with changes.
• Perform third-level support to resolve network issues.
• Collaborate with Cybersecurity to meet security standards and analyze events.
• Oversee DNS/DHCP/IPAM infrastructure for high availability.
• Develop automation templates for deployment of cloud infra components.
• Drive IaC efforts across Private/Hybrid/Multi-Cloud environments.
