Job summary

Barclays is seeking a Principal Wallet Security Engineer – Digital Assets in Colorado to define and deliver the security architecture for its wallet platform, enabling secure custody and settlement of digital assets across networks. You will work with engineering, cyber security, risk, and architecture teams to build a secure, scalable, and regulated institutional-grade wallet solution.

The role requires deep expertise in wallet security, HSMs, MPC, cryptographic signing, and PKI, with a focus

Qualifications

• Experience designing and securing institutional wallet platforms including transaction authorization and policy controls.
• Hands-on experience with hardware security modules and multi-party computation for safeguarding keys.

Responsibilities

• Define and deliver security architecture for Barclays wallet platform across engineering, cyber security, infrastructure, risk and architecture teams.
• Lead threat modeling and architectural reviews across complex stacks and third-party digital asset infrastructure.
• Ensure secure-by-design practices, resilience engineering, vulnerability management and continuous assurance.
