Job summary

Getman, Sweeney & Dunn seeks an attorney with 6+ years of wage and hour experience to lead teams in class and collective action wage theft cases across the U.S. The firm handles federal and state litigation, including overtime and minimum wage matters, with a focus on workers, including immigrants.

The role requires supervising a litigation team, strong research and communication skills, and potential growth toward partnership. Hybrid in-office collaboration is expected.

Qualifications

• Admitted to practice law in NY or another state in good standing.
• Substantial experience in complex federal and state wage-and-hour litigation.
• Ability to supervise and mentor a litigation team; strong written and oral skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise case teams across wage-and-hour matters.
• Develop theories and strategies to maximize client recovery.
• Develop and maintain client relationships; oversee witness interviews.
• Manage discovery, including depositions and motions.
• Draft court and arbitration filings and evaluate new cases.
• Lead mediation, including damage calculations and risk assessment.
• Collaborate with data scientists on data discovery; lead oral arguments.
• Identify opportunities to expand wage-and-hour laws and practice growth.
