Job summary

Fisher Phillips in Houston seeks a Senior Associate to join our Wage and Hour Litigation team. The role emphasizes significant client-facing work and a senior-level practitioner with 5+ years of experience in wage-hour class and/or collective actions under the FLSA.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience interpreting DOL Wage and Hour regulations and be proficient in drafting and arguing pleadings, motions, and depositions.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience litigating wage and hour class and/or collective actions under the FLSA.
• Strong writing and analytical skills with drafting/response to pleadings and discovery.

Responsibilities

• Drafting and responding to initial pleadings and discovery.
• Drafting and arguing motions, including motions to decertify a conditional class.
• Taking and defending depositions.
• Significant client-facing work within a growing Wage-Hour practice.
