Job summary

Fisher Phillips is expanding its Wage and Hour Litigation team in Dallas, offering the opportunity to play a pivotal client-facing role on complex wage-and-hour matters.

The role requires extensive experience litigating wage and hour class and collective actions under the Fair Labor Standards Act, interpreting U.S. Department of Labor Wage and Hour Division guidance, and drafting and arguing motions, as well as taking and defending depositions.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience litigating wage and hour class and/or collective action claims under the Fair Labor Standards Act.
• Experience interpreting U.S. Department of Labor Wage and Hour Division regulations, rules, and interpretative guidance materials.
• Drafting and responding to initial pleadings and discovery, drafting and arguing motions (including decertifying conditional classes), and taking and defending depositions.

Responsibilities

• Client-facing work as part of a growing Wage and Hour Litigation team.
• Litigate wage and hour class and collective actions under the FLSA.
• Interpret DOL Wage and Hour Division regulations and interpretative guidance; draft pleadings, motions, and handle depositions.
