Job summary

Truist seeks an experienced infrastructure vulnerability and patch management leader to drive remediation across enterprise environments. You will analyze advisories, coordinate patching, and implement optimization of remediation processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in CS, Engineering, IS, or related field.
• 7+ years of professional infrastructure engineering experience.
• Advanced knowledge of enterprise infrastructure technologies including cloud, network, database, storage, platform, computing, and middleware.

Responsibilities

• Analyze vulnerability results and advisories to identify remediation requirements and mitigation strategies.
• Lead remediation of complex infrastructure vulnerabilities by coordinating patching, configurations, upgrades, and controls.
• Conduct root cause analysis for recurring vulnerabilities and remediation failures; propose process improvements.
• Support development and improvement of patch and vulnerability management procedures and standards.
• Develop and maintain automation to improve remediation, compliance, reporting, and efficiency.
• Triage and harden infrastructure to reduce attack surfaces per enterprise security standards.
• Monitor vulnerability trends, patch compliance, and remediation effectiveness via dashboards and metrics.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity, platform engineering, and operations teams to prioritize high-risk vulnerabilities.
