Datadog is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to advance platform integrity and user protection as our platform scales. You will drive the technical roadmap with cross-functional teams, mentor 3+ engineers, and build UI components to strengthen account security.

The role involves front-end and back-end work, developing risk scoring, and collaborating with security, product, and engineering teams. Datadog supports a hybrid workplace and growth opportunities.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of software security engineering experience on teams building platform and user security features.
• Excellent communicator and collaborator across diverse stakeholders.
• Experience delivering front-end features with product and design teams.

Responsabilidades

• Have a direct impact on customers and their trust in our platform.
• Drive the technical roadmap with your team, PM, and other engineers to align with security objectives.
• Mentor 3+ software and security engineers, emphasizing quality and resiliency.
• Develop user-friendly UI components to strengthen account security.
• Create metrics to understand how users interact with security features.
• Work across the stack on front-end and back-end code.
• Develop risk scoring algorithms to classify risky behavior.
• Collaborate with engineering teams beyond security.
• Contribute to security operations including threat detection and response.
• Participate in Datadog’s incident response efforts.
