Job summary

Murphy-Hoffman Company in Leawood, KS seeks a Vice President of Service Operations to lead Service, Road Ready, Call Center and Warranty operations. You will shape strategy with executives and managers, oversee budgets, and drive profitability.

The role requires extensive leadership experience, strong analytical and budgeting skills, and willingness to travel. You will partner with Parts to deliver seamless service for customers and vendors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or related field preferred.
• Ten or more years of executive level decision making in service and/or shop operations.
• Proven ability to develop operational and strategic plans with leadership teams.
• Experience managing multiple locations with a results-driven focus.
• Strong financial acumen with profit and loss experience.
• Excellent interpersonal, presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Significant travel required.

Responsibilities

• Provides overall leadership and direction for the Service, Road Ready, Call Center and Warranty operations.
• Leads development and implementation of sound business practices and processes.
• Adjusts plans to impact profitability; executes agreed courses of action.
• Oversees programs that impact pricing, consumer research and services.
• Collaborates with leadership to foster teamwork across operations.
• Directs development of service and sales opportunities with large fleets.
• Determines pricing policies including margin guidelines and SLAs; manages vendor relationships.
• Oversees quality assurance and process improvement initiatives.
• Champions safety initiatives and safe working environments.
• Oversees asset allocation and financial resources; supports capital purchases.
• Oversees recruiting, staffing and employee development.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
