RETS Associates is seeking a Senior Vice President of Leasing to lead leasing across an active pipeline of large-format, ground-up retail developments throughout the Southeast and Midwest. This senior, hands-on role requires deep relationships with national and regional retailers and a proven ability to originate demand, secure anchor commitments and drive projects from pre-leasing through opening.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of retail leasing experience with owner/developer background.
• Strong relationships with national and regional retailers and brokers.
• Proven ability to originate demand and drive pre-leasing to opening.

Responsibilities

• Lead pre-leasing across ground-up retail developments focusing on anchor and junior-anchor commitments.
• Develop merchandising strategies and tenant mixes across anchors, outparcels and shop space.
• Set rents and leasing assumptions using market data and retailer demand.
• Maintain relationships with retailers, brokers and industry contacts.
• Lead LOI and lease negotiations through execution.
• Partner with development, construction and investment teams to meet leasing and capitalization goals.
• Represent the platform at ICSC and industry events.
