Ashley Furniture Industries is seeking a dynamic, results-driven Vice President of Retail Distribution Center Operations to lead a large-scale, multi-site distribution network and drive end-to-end operational excellence. You will set the strategic direction, optimize service levels, and scale processes to support Ashley’s growth and customer experience goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or related field; Master’s preferred.
• 15+ years of progressive operations leadership experience in large, multi-site environments.
• Proven experience with P&L ownership, cost optimization, and transformation initiatives.
• Strong expertise in warehouse operations, inventory management systems, and automation.
• Demonstrated ability to lead through change and scale process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end retail distribution center operations across multiple locations.
• Own operational performance metrics: throughput, service levels, inventory accuracy, cost efficiency.
• Develop and execute a long-term distribution strategy aligned to growth.
• Oversee a dispersed network with accountability for budgets and productivity.
• Champion lean methodologies, automation, and standardization to drive improvements.
• Drive large-scale initiatives in warehouse automation, systems integration and digital transformation.
• Establish and monitor KPIs to ensure data-driven performance.
• Collaborate with Finance, Supply Chain, Transportation, IT and Retail Ops to optimize product flow.
• Build and develop a high-performing leadership team; foster accountability and safety.
• Partner with retail leadership to deliver a best-in-class customer experience.
