Job summary

IDC Executive Search / Energy Only is seeking a Senior Project Development Leader to oversee thermal and renewable energy initiatives at existing and prospective facilities. You will blend technical expertise with strong project management to move opportunities from inception to commercial operations.

You will coordinate internal and external resources, manage permitting, interconnections, site controls, and financing efforts, while engaging stakeholders and guiding teams through front-end

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in renewable and thermal energy project development.
• Proficiency in energy infrastructure development and project management.
• Familiarity with regulations, codes, and standards governing power plant development.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and re-develop assets, identify renewable or thermal opportunities.
• Assess projects with internal/external resources through dev and front-end planning.
• Manage permitting and regulatory compliance across local, state, and federal authorities.
• Coordinate interconnection rights, site needs, and land use agreements.
• Coordinate financing, funding, and construction planning with project teams.
• Engage stakeholders to address concerns and build support for projects.
