Job summary

Goldman Sachs' Relationship Lending Group seeks a Senior Associate/VP to lead front-to-back execution in the Natural Resources sector. You will own transactions from inception to close and mentor junior team members while coordinating with internal partners and external counterparties.

You will drive deal execution for revolvers, ABL, RBL, term loans, and letters of credit, while shaping portfolio strategy and maintaining strong client relationships across the coverage teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics or quantitative field.
• 5–7 years in corporate lending or financial services.
• Extensive Natural Resources sector knowledge including energy and mining.
• Strong financial modeling skills and knowledge of capital structures.
• Excellent writing, presentation and communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently in a team environment.
• Highly organized with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Commercially driven mindset.

Responsibilities

• Drive deal execution from inception to close in the Natural Resources sector.
• Coordinate across IB, LGC, Legal, and Credit Risk Management to advance transactions.
• Engage with syndication banks, borrowers, and external counsel to shape terms.
• Provide analytical insights and portfolio reporting to senior management.
• Develop and deepen client relationships through lending activities.
