Job summary

Goldman Sachs’ Relationship Lending Group seeks a Senior Associate/VP with deep Natural Resources sector expertise to lead front-to-back lending transactions, including ABL, revolvers, term loans, and LBL/RBL facilities.

You will manage deals, coordinate with Investment Banking, Leveraged Finance, Legal, and Risk, mentor junior team members, and shape portfolio strategy while strengthening client relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics or quantitative field.
• 5–7 years of corporate lending / financial services experience.
• Knowledge of Natural Resources sector including RBL and borrowing base.
• Strong financial modeling and covenant framework experience.
• Excellent writing and presentation skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Highly organized with ability to prioritize.
• Commercially driven mindset.

Responsibilities

• Drive deal execution across lending and facilities in Natural Resources.
• Lead multiple deals across stages and coordinate with teams.
• Engage with syndication banks, borrowers, and legal counsel.
• Shape portfolio strategy and analytics for senior mgmt.
• Add commercial value and deepen client relationships.
