Job summary

Citi in Rutherford, NJ seeks a Senior Vice President to lead Python engineering and GenAI platforms for Retail and Wealth Risk. You will direct ~15 engineers, shaping AI product lifecycle, data ecosystems, and full‑stack solutions across risk programs.

Influence architecture, governance, and regulatory alignment while partnering with Risk, Finance, and business lines to deliver scalable, compliant platforms.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in enterprise app development, data engineering, or AI platform engineering.
• 8+ years leading multi-team Agile organizations (20+ engineers).
• Advanced Python, PySpark, Databricks expertise for large-scale data pipelines.
• Experience architecting enterprise AI/GenAI platforms and LLM integrations.

Responsibilities

• Lead agile teams of 15+ engineers, including hybrid human and AI-assisted developers.
• Define enterprise strategy for Python engineering, AI agents, and data apps.
• Architect AI agent ecosystems with GenAI, HITL, governance, and compliance.
• Oversee data pipelines, data mesh, and regulatory reporting (CCAR/FDIC).
• Drive AI PDLC adoption, model governance, and risk-management alignment.
