AECOM is seeking a Vice President, Project & Program Management to lead business growth, client engagement, and delivery of complex capital programs across the New York metropolitan area. The role focuses on public agency clients, with private-sector relationships an advantage.

This senior leader will drive operating performance, develop governance structures, and oversee multiple concurrent projects while collaborating across offices and disciplines in a matrixed organization.

Formación

• BA/BS in engineering, construction management, architecture, or a closely related discipline; 12 years of related experience or equivalent.
• 15+ years of relevant experience in program management, project management, construction management, design management, or capital program delivery.
• Demonstrated leadership of large, complex multidisciplinary capital projects in the New York metropolitan market.
• Professional Engineer (PE), Registered Architect (RA), PMP, CCM, or DBIA certification.
• Master’s degree in engineering, construction management, architecture, business administration, or related field.
• 15+ years of experience with supervisory leadership.
• Relocation sponsorship for US employment is not available now or in the future.

Responsabilidades

• Provide executive leadership for NY Program and Project Management, balancing growth, client service, project delivery, financial performance, and staff development.
• Build a culture of leadership, accountability, collaboration, technical excellence, and professional development through coaching and mentoring.
• Drive growth of Program Management and Construction Management services across infrastructure, transportation, buildings, aviation, water, housing, education, and other capital markets.
• Coordinate portfolio priorities, staffing plans, and resource assignments to provide clients with the appropriate expertise at the right time.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams through planning, design, procurement, construction, commissioning, turnover, and closeout.
• Develop and implement Program Management Plans, Project Execution Plans, governance structures, decision frameworks, and delivery procedures.
• Oversee project scope, schedule, budget, risk, quality, safety, and client satisfaction across multiple assignments.
• Promote consistent project delivery practices, including monthly reviews, forecasting, corrective action, and lessons learned.
• Oversee operating budgets and portfolio performance in coordination with leadership.
• Recruit, develop, engage, and retain high-performing staff; support succession planning.
• Lead a sizable team across AECOM offices, business lines, and technical disciplines.
• Perform other responsibilities consistent with the role and business needs.
