Job summary

Chase seeks a VP Product Owner – Client Onboarding on the Digital Wallets team to guide onboarding and integration journeys with our payment services. You will translate complex requirements into clear product outcomes while partnering across engineering, operations, risk, and business teams to keep initiatives on track.

You’ll lead cross-functional sessions, maintain the product roadmap, and drive governance and reporting to executives, ensuring alignment with customer value and risk posture.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in product management with ownership of a roadmap from ideation through delivery.
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders across tech, business, and operations without direct authority.
• Working knowledge of modern API architecture concepts (REST, webhooks, API gateway) to engage credibly with engineers.
• Strong project management skills with multi-workstream delivery, dependencies, and governance.

Responsibilities

• Identify and refine product requirements for API-enabled payments features for engineering partners.
• Own and maintain the product roadmap for assigned workstreams, reflecting customer impact and business value.
• Lead stakeholder engagement across technology, operations, compliance, and business functions for alignment on scope and timelines.
• Establish and execute project cadences – status reporting, dependency tracking, milestone governance – for onboarding velocity.
• Synthesize data, user research, and market signals to identify gaps and propose data-backed solutions.
• Partner with technology teams to evaluate API architecture decisions ensuring scalability and security.
