Job summary

Housing Partnership Network (HPN) seeks a VP, Philanthropy to lead fundraising strategy and donor relations across foundations, financial institutions, and individuals. You’ll coach a growing team, oversee reporting, and align activities with HPN’s social enterprises and programmatic initiatives.

You’ll collaborate with executives to meet annual goals, leverage private fundraising, and ensure a strong pipeline through research and stakeholder engagement. Remote, nationwide potential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 6+ years fundraising experience in large nonprofits or foundations.
• Experience leading fundraising strategy, proposals, and donor reporting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for high‑quality proposals and reports.
• Experience with capital fundraising and working with family offices or financial institutions.
• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills to engage donors and executives.
• Organizational skills to juggle priorities and lead a growing team.
• Ability to coach best practices and collaborate across internal teams.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and independent work style in a dynamic setting.
• Commitment to HPN’s mission and culture; articulate vision clearly.
• Fluency with Office 365; Salesforce experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Devise and implement strategies to deepen relationships with funders.
• Oversee fundraising team to achieve annual goals and reporting.
• Plan to raise resources for program lines, social enterprises, and partnerships.
• Lead outreach, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of all prospects.
• Ensure a robust pipeline through research, events, and stakeholder engagement.
• Manage fundraising operations and Salesforce-based processes and reports.
