Job summary

BNY is seeking a Senior Vice President AI/Machine Learning Software Engineer for its client platforms in Pittsburgh. You will lead the design, development, and deployment of machine learning solutions and integrated model pipelines at scale within the global payments and trade team.

The ideal candidate has an advanced STEM degree and 7–9 years of experience in ML, with a strong background in financial services and governance.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in STEM, engineering, or equivalent with relevant experience.
• 7–9 years of experience leading and supporting ML solution development and deployment.
• Experience in securities or financial services preferred.
• Strong background in building and deploying ML solutions and integrated model pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior-level technical guidance to ML teams and lead model deployments and ML pipelines.
• Oversee large-scale ML systems and strategic initiatives with significant business impact.
• Partner with business stakeholders to resolve ML and pipeline challenges while ensuring governance.
• Create flowcharts, layouts, technical documentation, and implement automated lifecycle components.
