Job summary

BNY is seeking a Senior Vice President AI/Machine Learning Software Engineer for its client platforms in Pittsburgh. You will lead the design, development, and deployment of machine learning solutions and integrated model pipelines at scale within the global payments and trade team.

The ideal candidate has an advanced STEM degree and 7–9 years of experience in ML, with a strong background in financial services and governance.

Qualifications

Salary: $30,000 - 55,000 per year Requirements:

• We are looking for an advanced degree in STEM, engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, with relevant experience preferred.
• We need 7–9 years of experience leading and supporting the development and deployment of machine learning solutions, model integrations, and scalable ML technologies.
• We value experience in the securities or financial services industry.
• We are seeking someone with a strong background in building and deploying machine learning solutions and integrated model pipelines.

Responsibilities:

• We provide senior-level technical guidance to machine learning teams and act as the technical authority for designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining model deployments and ML pipeline tools.
• We lead strategic planning and oversee large-scale machine learning systems and complex initiatives with significant business impact.
• We partner with business stakeholders to resolve highly complex machine learning and pipeline challenges, while ensuring compliance with data and model governance standards.
• We create flowcharts, layouts, and technical documentation, integrate automated lifecycle components into fully functional pipelines, and define implementation plans for model integration and performance tuning.
