Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required; a master's degree is preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of commercial lending policies and procedures.
• A minimum of ten years of progressively responsible commercial lending experience.
• Proven success in business development, portfolio management and relationship management.
• Experience with commercial real estate, C&I, and SBA lending is required.
• Working knowledge of SBA programs and underwriting standards preferred.
• Established network of market contacts is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a plan to generate new commercial loans and SBA loans.
• Originate, structure, and manage commercial loan relationships for profitability.
• Prospect for new business through calls, networking, and referrals.
• Maintain relationships with accountants, attorneys, and brokers.
• Review credit risk and collateral to support lending decisions.
• Coordinate SBA eligibility, documentation, and portfolio administration.
