Job summary

The Assistant Vice President of Development at Ivy Tech Community College of Indiana leads systemwide major gift fundraising, cultivating and soliciting gifts of $100,000 and above to advance statewide priorities.

Reporting to the Vice President for Philanthropy, this role builds donor-centered strategies, manages a high-impact portfolio, and collaborates with campus leaders to support scholarships, workforce development, and campaign objectives.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree; Master’s degree or professional fundraising certification preferred.
Minimum 10 years of progressively responsible fundraising experience, including major gifts.
Proven record of securing six- and seven-figure commitments from individuals, corporations, and foundations.
Experience managing a complex donor portfolio and full fundraising cycle.

Responsibilities

Lead major and principal gift fundraising and manage a portfolio of donors and prospects.
Develop and execute cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship strategies for gifts of $100,000+.
Identify, qualify, cultivate, solicit, and steward donors capable of transformational investments.
Collaborate with Foundation and College leadership on statewide fundraising initiatives and campaigns.
