Job summary

WSP USA is seeking an Assistant Vice President Licensed Environmental Professional to lead Connecticut environmental projects from our Glastonbury and Shelton offices. You will own a portfolio, translate regulatory judgments into actions, and mentor junior staff while pursuing new business opportunities.

Applicants should hold a CTDEEP LEP credential, have 10+ years in environmental consulting, and deep CT regulatory knowledge (RSRs, RCRA, TSCA).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in geology, hydrogeology or environmental engineering.
• Current CTDEEP Licensed Environmental Professional credential.
• Minimum 10 years of experience as a Connecticut environmental consultant.
• Strong working knowledge of CTDEEP RSRs, RCRA and TSCA.
• Demonstrated project, client and staff management capability

Responsibilities

• Prepare environmental work plans and direct projects through completion, with accountability for scope, schedule, budget, quality and next-course-of-action decisions.
• Manage existing client relationships, identify opportunities and develop new business.
• Apply Connecticut environmental consulting expertise, including CTDEEP RSRs, RCRA and TSCA, to project strategy and technical decisions.
• Supervise, mentor and train junior staff; set expectations and review work quality.
• Interpret data and project findings to determine practical, compliant actions for clients.
