Job summary

WSP is seeking an Assistant Vice President Licensed Environmental Professional to lead Connecticut environmental projects from Glastonbury and Shelton offices. You will manage client relationships, translate regulatory judgment into project decisions, and mentor staff within the Earth and Environment Team.

This senior role requires a CTDEEP Licensed Environmental Professional with at least 10 years of Connecticut consulting experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in geology, hydrogeology or environmental engineering.
• Current CTDEEP Licensed Environmental Professional credential.
• Minimum 10 years of experience as a Connecticut environmental consultant.
• Strong working knowledge of CTDEEP RSRs, RCRA and TSCA.
• Demonstrated project, client and staff management capability.

Responsibilities

• Prepare environmental work plans and direct projects through completion, with accountability for scope, schedule, budget, quality and next-course-of-action decisions.
• Manage existing client relationships, identify opportunities and develop new business.
• Apply Connecticut environmental consulting expertise, including CTDEEP RSRs, RCRA and TSCA, to project strategy and technical decisions.
• Supervise, mentor and train junior staff; set expectations and review work quality.
• Interpret data and project findings to determine practical, compliant actions for clients.
