Job summary

WSP is seeking an Assistant Vice President Licensed Environmental Professional to lead environmental projects in Connecticut from our Glastonbury and Shelton offices. You will own a portfolio of CT environmental projects and client relationships, translating regulatory judgments into project decisions and mentoring junior staff.

Responsibilities include directing work plans, handling budgets, and applying CT environmental regulations (CTDEEP RSRs, RCRA, TSCA) to strategic decisions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in geology, hydrogeology or environmental engineering.
  • Current CTDEEP Licensed Environmental Professional credential.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience as a Connecticut environmental consultant.
  • Strong working knowledge of CTDEEP RSRs, RCRA and TSCA.
  • Demonstrated project, client and staff management capability.

This Opportunity

WSP is currently initiating a search for a full-time Assistant Vice President Licensed Environmental Professional to support our Connecticut operations, in our Glastonbury and Shelton, CT offices. Be involved in projects with our Earth and Environment Team and be a part of a growing organization that meets our client’s objectives and solves their challenges. Own a portfolio of Connecticut environmental projects and client relationships. Translate technical and regulatory judgment into project decisions, develop new work, and build team capability through direct supervision and mentoring.


Your Impact

Essential accountabilities


  • Prepare environmental work plans and direct projects through completion, with accountability for scope, schedule, budget, quality and next-course-of-action decisions.

Who You Are

Compensation:

Expected Salary (all locations): $140,000 - $185,000


WSP USA is providing the compensation range that the company in good faith believes it might pay and offer for this position, based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities in addition to internal equity and specific geographic location.
