Job summary

TNTP, a fully remote national nonprofit, seeks a strategic Vice President, Fundraising to lead a multi-year fundraising agenda across foundations, corporations, and individuals. You will partner with the CEO and Board to shape strategy, build a scalable fundraising function, and foster a data-driven culture across programs and regions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive fundraising/development leadership at senior/executive level.
• Proven success leading teams to ambitious revenue goals with pipeline management, forecasting, and metrics.
• Demonstrated ability to cultivate, solicit, and steward high-value funder relationships—foundations, corporations, and major donors.
• Strong executive presence and ability to advise CEO/Board on fundraising strategy and donor engagement.
• Experience building fundraising infrastructure and processes (CRM, proposal workflows, data quality).
• Strategic/analytical mindset translating strategy into revenue plans, budgets, and resourcing.
• Proven people leadership with remote team management.
• Commitment to TNTP’s vision, values, and educational equity.
• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Strengthen TNTP’s fundraising function, culture, processes, and systems.
• Lead a multi-year fundraising strategy aligned to the strategic plan and financial sustainability.
• Diversify funding across foundations, corporations, and individual giving; manage priority funder relationships.
• Coordinate with leadership to align priorities, narratives, and funding strategies.
• Build, coach, and develop a high-performing fundraising team in a distributed, remote environment.
• Strengthen fundraising infrastructure: CRM, forecasting, reporting, and data quality.
