Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Chartered Accountant / CFA / MBA a plus.
• Experience within financial markets and fund accounting.
• Experience in financial services, client management, project management, strategic management, operational management, and resource and expense management.
• Experience with people management and working with multiple stakeholders.
• Advanced knowledge of accounting concepts, financial services, and global financial markets.
• Ability to manage client relationships.
• Demonstrated talent assessment as well as the ability to manage client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Manage fund accounting operations at a site or functional level including people managers and cross-department collaboration.
• Assess new business viability against existing capabilities and recommend actions.
• Support employee career progression through defined paths and PDPs.
• Evaluate risk and controls, ensuring compliance to established controls.
• Lead strategic planning with business units and prioritize development requirements.
• Monitor P&L, expenses, budget and planning.
• Set and achieve department goals and handle escalation of complex issues.
• Drive compliance and governance across the department.
