Job summary

Atlantic Group in New York City seeks a Director of Fund Accounting to lead our fund accounting and treasury function. This senior role oversees NAV finalization, financial reporting, audits, and investor communications across complex fund structures.

You will manage a team, collaborate with Operations, Investor Relations, Tax, Legal and senior leadership, and drive process improvements in a fast-growing environment.

Qualifications

• CPA is required.
• 10+ years of progressive public and/or private accounting experience.
• Credit fund experience strongly preferred or openness to transition into credit space.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team overseeing fund accounting and treasury functions.
• Review junior staff work and mentor talent growth.
• Streamline processes, templates, and controls across the function.
• Own NAV finalization, P/L and investor allocations for open- and closed-end funds.
• Coordinate with third-party administrators and internal teams; ensure accuracy of statements.
• Prepare quarterly unaudited and annual audited financial statements under U.S. GAAP; coordinate year-end audits.
• Provide monthly performance reporting, forecasts, and ad hoc analyses for leadership.
• Support regulatory reporting, investor communications, and cross-functional firm initiatives.
