Job summary

Charter Communications is seeking a Vice President Field Engineering - Midwest Region based in Blue Ash, OH with frequent travel across OH, KY, IN, and western WV. This role directs regional efforts to ensure reliability of Spectrum's fiber broadband access network and aligns with corporate standards for design and upgrades.

The VP will oversee regional maintenance programs, disaster recovery, regulatory compliance, and cross-functional collaboration with ISP and NTS teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field required.
• SCTE/BCTE certification or equivalent field experience preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of HFC, IP networks, digital transmission, fiber optics.

Responsibilities

• Oversee regional field construction/engineering and network maintenance.
• Manage annual budget preparation and implementation for the region.
• Lead senior level management within Field Operations.
• Coordinate with Inside Plant (ISP) and Network Technology Services for upgrades.
• Ensure regional compliance with FCC and other regulations.
• Plan resources for plant upgrades and repairs and oversee disaster recovery efforts.
• Represent the region in operational reviews of engineering initiatives.
