Lumos is seeking a Senior Vice President of OSP Engineering & Construction to lead the expansion of our fiber network across markets. Open to candidates within the Lumos footprint, with travel up to 50%.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive leadership in Outside Plant Engineering and Construction.
• Extensive direct experience within a fiber overbuild organization.
• Experience managing capital budgets, contractor performance, and large-scale deployment schedules.
• Proven success building partnerships with contractors, vendors, and cross-functional business leaders.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for Lumos' OSP Engineering & Construction organization.
• Lead regional OSP Vice Presidents by fostering accountability, collaboration, and servant leadership while empowering teams to operate successfully.
• Oversee engineering and construction performance, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and aligned with objectives.
• Manage capital expenditures by monitoring project performance, forecasting needs, and ensuring responsible budget stewardship.
• Drive the successful launch of new fiber markets by partnering with Legal and cross-functional stakeholders to establish agreements and deployment plans.
• Establish and strengthen partnerships with local municipalities and community leaders to support fiber deployment.
• Build and maintain relationships with construction partners, contractors, and vendors.
• Champion a culture of safety, compliance, and operational excellence across all activities.
• Monitor performance using internal reporting tools and dashboards to ensure schedule accuracy and program health.
• Partner with executive leadership for strategic planning and long-term network expansion.
