Job summary

Planned Parenthood Federation of America in the United States seeks a dynamic Senior Vice President of Federation Fundraising to lead national and local fundraising efforts, unifying affiliates to maximize revenue and impact.

The SVP oversees a ~50-person team, drives direct response and digital marketing programs expected to generate substantial annual revenue, and partners with the CDO to create a scalable, collaborative fundraising model.

Qualifications

• Minimum 20 years of experience in complex high-volume marketing technology and fundraising systems, with at least 8 years of leadership experience in federated or chapter-based fundraising models.
• Proven experience managing or integrating direct response/digital marketing programs to drive mass-market revenue.
• Understanding of nonprofit governance structures and ability to lead federation-wide agreements.

Responsibilities

• Provides strategic leadership to mass market fundraising at scale and unifies federation-facing activities to maximize revenue growth.
• Oversees the Direct Response fundraising program and drives revenue growth and donor engagement.
• Leads the strategy for collaborative philanthropy and partner relations with affiliates to optimize service and impact.
• Drives data-driven fundraising strategies and fosters a culture of change, teamwork, and belonging across the federation.
• Leads recruitment, development, and retention of a diverse fundraising team and informs the organization’s long-term financial health.
