Job summary

NFP, an Aon company, seeks a senior leader to direct the Construction & Infrastructure Claims Team in North America. The role drives strategy, coordination across carriers, clients, and internal experts, and escalates complex claims management with a focus on coverage advocacy.

The candidate will oversee high-exposure portfolios, mentor account executives and SMEs, and report to executive leadership on key claim developments and risk management.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressively responsible experience in construction claims or complex commercial casualty with leadership responsibility.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing complex client and carrier relationships.
• Deep knowledge of construction-related insurance programs, coverage interpretation, and claims advocacy.
• Strong analytical skills with data analytics and benchmarking experience.
• Excellent communication and executive-level presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day leadership for the C&I Claims Team.
• Directly manage and mentor the Construction Claims Account Executive and SMEs.
• Lead coverage advocacy and manage complex claims strategy.
• Coordinate with clients, producers, carriers, TPAs, defense counsel, and other stakeholders.
• Oversee large loss monitoring, reserve changes, and high-exposure matters.
• Represent the organization at client meetings and industry events.
• Communicate significant claim developments to executive leadership.
