Job summary

NFP, an Aon company, is seeking a VP Team Leader, Commercial Risk to manage a portfolio of high-value Commercial Lines Property & Casualty clients and mentor Account Executives. This Northeast role supports hybrid work from NYC, Long Island, or Boston offices, with travel as needed.

The candidate will drive revenue growth, client retention, and cross-sell opportunities while leading strategic client discussions and ensuring service excellence.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of Commercial Lines experience with complex/high-value accounts.
• Proven ability to lead and mentor Account Executives.
• Strong knowledge of Property & Casualty coverage, risk management, carrier markets.
• Proven ability to strengthen client relationships and identify revenue-growth opportunities.
• Excellent communication, critical thinking, problem-solving, and relationship-management skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities with sound judgment and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; EPIC experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a group of Account Executives while managing an assigned book of complex, high-value clients.
• Drive revenue growth across the book by establishing relationships with producers, existing and prospective clients, and identifying cross-sell and upsell opportunities.
• Lead account strategy, renewals, marketing, and complex client discussions in partnership with producers and account teams.
• Serve as a senior escalation point and trusted advisor for complex, sensitive, or high-risk client matters.
• Drive client retention and expansion through proactive relationship management, strong execution, and consistent service delivery.
• Find opportunities to improve account workflows, client results, and the overall client experience.
