Job summary

BNY is seeking a Senior Vice President, Cloud Security Engineer to lead cloud security controls across AWS, Azure, and GCP. You will drive AI-enabled security initiatives, support threat detection, and collaborate with engineering to embed secure practices in cloud workloads.

In this role, you will promote policy-as-code, automate guardrails, and mature CSPM posture using Wiz, Prisma Cloud, or similar tools, while ensuring governance requirements and risk reporting are met.

Qualifications

• We require 6–10 years of relevant experience.
• Experience securing workloads in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong understanding of cloud security controls and CSPM/CNAPP concepts.
• Experience with policy-as-code and automated guardrails.
• Hands-on with IaC and automation tools (Terraform, Python, etc.).
• Familiarity with NIST SP 800-53 controls and cloud governance.
• Exposure to regulated environments and CIS/CSA/NIST benchmarks.
• Certifications such as AWS/Azure/Google cloud security or CCSP are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement cloud security controls across cloud platforms.
• Champion AI-enabled security improvements and threat detection.
• Support security operations, automation, and incident response.
• Translate requirements into repeatable engineering standards.
• Lead posture management and remediation for misconfigurations.
• Collaborate with engineering and governance teams to improve standards.
